Powered by GoogleWe had the pleasure of working with Jake McCaskey and Mike Sitting, and both coaches were excellent. They were professional, approachable, and built a strong rapport with my son 8u right away. Over the past three months, they focused on his hitting, and the improvement has been very noticeable. What stood out most was their ability to get him to open up about how he feels during his swing—helping him understand what adjustments to make and what to focus on at the plate. Jake and Mike are both extremely knowledgeable about the game and provide clear, practical advice. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality baseball coaching.
My sons and I had a blast at Fennell Brothers. I was pleasantly surprised at the batting cage availability and when the turf is open, it is phenomenal to get practice in. We will definitely continue going!
My son participated in the fielding skills group. The group contained much older kids. At first, I may have been worried about my much younger son participating in the group but right away, the instructor made him feel welcome. He gave my 8 year old son real feedback that he can use in the future. It wasn't just the standard "good job buddy" over and over again. He challenged him to make all of the plays but at the same times made sure that he was protected and not in danger while working with much older participants. My son was very excited to return in the future.
My son loves training at the wildwood facility in the winter! They are so welcoming to kids who are not in their Fennell club, which isn’t always how most clubs operate. He loves having access to the field, pitching equipment and the pitching machines. Jay Fennell was chatting with us yesterday and took the time to encourage him to keep working hard bc it will pay off in his career!
I have been taking my 10 yearold and 8 yearold sons to the group pitching lessons. We have been so pleased with everything they have learned. They pitch in LL and 10u and both are hoping to see time on the mound for their upcoming travel seasons. We have seen so much improvement in accuracy and speed for our older son and we are seeing our younger son use the proper mechanics and technique to get started off right. Coach Nick makes it fun for them and they learn so much. We will be switching from group to private lessons due to scheduling for fall/winter and are looking forward to continued growth.
