Feet First Center for Contemporary and Classical Dance in Phoenixville runs themed week-long summer camps, from a Magic Garden camp introducing young children to creative dance through pre-ballet vocabulary, stories, poems and dance games, to Wicked and Taylor Swift camps in which dancers choreograph to a song each day. Advanced camps take dancers across ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and modern/contemporary alongside dance history. The studio was founded in 1982 by Nancy Etter and also runs youth dance companies; a $30 registration fee holds a spot and camps need a minimum of five dancers to run.
