Just finished a wonderful class on bird water whistles. Small group, well organized and the instructor was personable, helpful and fun. I would recommend this class for anyone interested in ceramic hand construction.

I recently took a ceramic whistle making class and quite frankly the whole event was so poorly run I won't be taking any classes here in the future. The class had probably double the amount of people that one instructor could reasonably manage. I was told by the instructor that as they didn't have the glazes I was hoping to use that I could come back once they were bisque fired with my own glazes and complete the project then. When I did return I was told by Patrice that I couldn't do that, then that I could but would have to pay extra money on top of the class. The whole interaction was so negative that I would recommend you exercise any of the other wonderful local options for crafting.

An amazing art school, the school is a part of the community, the exhibits are always interesting and fun, always enjoyable. I have taken many art classes, their instructors are among my favorites. The staff is very helpful, friendly and clearly cares about the students and the success of the school in supporting art on the Cape.
