“Very disappointed with the lack of information and communication. We paid for the salon from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at no time did they explain to us that we had to arrive exactly at the reserved time or that the decoration time should be included within those hours. When we arrived to prepare the baby shower, we were forced to pay two additional hours to decorate. If these are the rules, they should be clearly informed from the beginning so that customers can plan and avoid unexpected expenses. It was not a fair or professional experience.”

My kids go here for the indoor playground during the winter. You cannot go wrong with free fun to get energy out for your kids. We go during day hours when I am off work so it’s usually quiet. I can’t say much about when it is busy after school. The times we have seen other kids however, it’s your typical playground stuff and the kids play together. Supervise them and it is all good! My kids have also enjoyed some of the books in the mini library. There are now five cushy benches for parents to sit at. This is a plus! Over all this has quality equipment and clean good family restrooms. Thank you Fairview Rec Center for doing this!

We are in town on vacation and ran into a rainy day. Needing something indoors, we happened upon Fairview. The outside of the building is non-descript so we were a little iffy at first but once we went inside we were impressed. Lots of climing for the kiddos. The floor is a soft rubber so it will still hurt but it softens the fall. We were pretty impressed. Also, free is hard to beat! Will be going back before we head back to Hawai'i.
