Update: Had our son’s 8th birthday here and was really impressed with the effort the staff put into the theme he chose! Would definitely have another party here in the future!! Our family is so excited about Engineering for Kids! We had our first class tonight and our son’s passion has been ignited. The instructor is super fun and enthusiastic, and it is really the perfect environment to learn and be around like minded kiddos who have a passion for engineering!! Can’t wait for spring classes!

Excellent staff and amazing educational opportunity for kids! My son has a medical condition (T1D) that he monitors on his own but sometimes requires some adult intervention, and they’ve been nothing but receptive. This is the ONLY place I’ve felt comfortable leaving him for a few hours without me there. He has a blast at every class. It’s been just wonderful! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

My nephew (and niece) have been taking classes here for some time now, and I have been delighted to see them thriving in a learning environment and seeing the neat projects they’ve done. He loves it so much that he wanted to have his 8th birthday party there, and Engineering for Kids was happy to oblige! The ladies were very welcoming and had some Star Wars-themed projects planned for the kids. The best part was watching the kids shoot their hand-made X-Wing and Millennium Falcon straw rockets at the clay Death Star the girls had made especially for the party. Counting down the launches as a group and seeing the excitement of the kids (and learning from their previous launch failures) was really a great experience. The kids (and adults!) even learned about circuits and got to see how electricity using a battery, copper tape, and a small bulb could make their light sabers glow! All in all, I think the girls did a great job managing the large group (4-8 year olds) and even went above and beyond to add a Star Wars flare for the birthday boy. (The R2D2 drawing on the white board was 💯 !) It was a lot to accomplish in 2 hours, but they took on the challenge and kept things moving. The birthday boy was very happy, so that’s a success! Thanks for making his day special - and even teaching us parents (and uncles) some cool engineering/science facts along the way! 😄

Engineering for Kids, a hands on education experience specializing in STEM subjects and activities for kids, has proven to be an amazing space for children in the Spring/Woodlands/Oak Ridge area. My experience with the teachers over the past few months has been very positive. The facility is very well-designed and equipped, and the subject matter offered is surprisingly diverse! The owners are very knowledgeable, friendly, and have bent over backwards to give their students a first-rate learning experience. They are very patient, empathetic with their kids and seem to have intuitive insight as to how to best communicate engineering concepts to young children. My experience has been that the owners and their staff pour long, hard hours into giving their students the best education in STEM subjects they can get. I wish other people in other businesses worked so hard to create a first-rate experience for their customers. I strongly recommend Engineering for Kids - North Houston for your kids who are looking to learn engineering subjects in a fun, hands-on, interactive environment.

We love Engineering for Kids!!! My son is 4 and is into robotics and how things work, so this was perfect for him. It is great they have classes for all different ages. They are so patient, kind, and engaging that even the youngest students stay engaged. I highly recommend them and am excited to sign my son up for more classes!
