Empire Performing Arts Studio in downtown Cordele teaches dance, singing and acting, with group classes in acrobatics for ages 5-10 and 11 and up that blend dance technique with floor tumbling, partner tricks and strength conditioning, plus turning and technique and musical theatre dance. It also offers private lessons for solos, couples and groups. Its published offerings are year-round classes; no summer camp dates, ages or hours appear on the studio's site or class portal.

This can only be due to the exceptional training they receive from experienced teachers who clearly know how to get through to young people. The students I met were a lovely bunch of young people from 12 to 18. It was notable how kind and supportive they were to one another and what positive social skills they had. This is a marvellous opportunity for young people. I was really impressed with Empire Dance. Good educational standard, good standard all round!
