Emagination STEM Camps offers two-week day and overnight STEM camps at Mercer University's Atlanta campus for kids ages 8-17, running since 1982. Campers choose four hands-on, project-based courses per session across coding, game design, robotics, engineering and digital arts, with recreation and meals included.

★★Rob WilliamsSent my son there in 2021 for the weeklong overnight. First off, I signed up for some classes but was told later some of those didn't exist anymore. Then they cancelled the original reservation due to lack of people and I rescheduled (after I had already booked other camps.. doh!). Then some of the classes on the rescheduled signup didn't exist anymore, so I changed it up a fourth time. Dropoff instructions were confusing, but we got him there with his friend. On pickup, his mom and friend's mom found an empty building and tried calling various numbers but no one would answer. Eventually they saw a car park nearby and flagged down the driver to ask if they knew anything. Turns out it was the organizer who had been away and not answering calls -- luckily they ran into her, and she directed them to another building somewhere else on campus to pick up. When I asked my son about camp, he did mostly enjoy it -- but it turns out that's mainly because instead of teaching 'Roblox programming', they just played Roblox. He liked that and playing video games w/ other kids. He did actually make a small house in the 3D printing class, so at least that was real. Overall: Not what is promised, difficult to schedule, major lack of communication, and not cheap on top of it. Definitely not going again. An extra star because one class was real and my son did like playing games most of the time.
★Shushura SmithWe have been trying to sign our child up for camp for the last 3 weeks. It’s taken dozens of phone calls and e-mails over the weeks to get anyone to respond to any messages. We have now spent the last week e-mailing, calling and texting trying to sign our child up for camp. The one week session for our location is not available online and we were told we would need to speak with someone to complete the registration process. We have decided that we are not comfortable sending our child to a camp that is so unresponsive.
★Eli WigginsI signed my son up for this camp for June 2020. Of course that camp didn't happen because of the pandemic. When I called for a refund they agreed without question. But never gave me a refund. This group cannot be trusted.
