Fantastic gym which has all the facilities and classes one will need to fit into their fitness journey. Whether you are a beginner or advanced this place is perfect. Fab coaches to learn tennis and pickleball as well.

This is my favorite gym and as a gym rat, my opinion holds great weight. There are 4 clubs, one is without a pool but that’s okay there’s still a shower. There’s a salt water pool, red light therapy, tennis, classes and no harassment of any kind. The employees, the patrons, even the kids are well behaved. There’s a daycare you can sign your kids up for while you work out and if you have a kid old enough to watch themselves there’s an excellent play area. I’ve made a tradition of borrowing at least one nephew a year just for the pool. FYI Brookfield has the best outdoor kiddie pool according to my 4 yo nephew but he’s also excited about bath time in general so do what you like with his opinion. In the summer there’s an outdoor grill. You can even get a cocktail! I can spend 4 hours there, work out then steam then pool then grill it goes on and on but eventually they close at night so I must go home.

If you are looking for a traditional gym experience, this is probably not the place for you. Over the past few years, holding my membership, it feels like Elite caters more towards families and children/childcare services than they do to fitness members. Yes, they have equipment and classes, but there are often children in the gym. During the summertime, the children run the place, overseen by a staff leader. Groups of kids occupy the gym, basketball court, fitness rooms, pool, and outside area. I like to check the class schedules and use the fitness rooms when there is occupancy, but the children's camp has no schedule posted, and I was not allowed to use the same space as them, nor would I really want to work out with kids playing anyway. The number of younger children, however, does lessen once the school year starts again. They now have updated a good amount of the workout machines which was much needed. They definitely work better than the old ones and I like the addition of the new leg/glute machine. There is also an insect issue that has been persistent for months, even in the winter time when you think there would be less bugs around. I haven’t seen staff or management actively responding to this as the issue continues and there’s dead bugs around the women’s locker room that have been there for about a week now.

We just canceled our elite membership. We missed the deadline by five days. So we canceled January 5th and were charged for January and then also February. I understand that is their policy (and I’m sure we signed it) but was still disappointed they would not waive February considering we were members for a considerable time and spent a good amount of money with them. Kind of sad they needed to get us for another monthly fee. And since I’m reviewing, I’ll note the food by the pool is not good. Not a single thing worth ordering outside of popsicles and beer. I would actually stay away from any event with food. It’s never been good. This place is also constantly having issues so often things aren’t working. I guess at least they do repairs. They could also use another basketball court. Otherwise the gym and workout equipment is fine. The big hot tub and pools are nice too. Hate to give such a bad, but honest, review but very frustrated that we spent so much on this gym and management gave us nothing but canned responses about their polices and contract. If you join, don’t expect much understanding or cooperation from the Business Office if issues arise.

If I could give this gym zero stars I would. The equipment is old and out dated from like the 90s. Their reservation system is awful. You’ll reserve a spot for your kids and then show up and there’s no reservation. This happened multiple times and they just blame you and say you screwed it up and they can’t do anything about it so you just have to walk out. You pay for a gym membership for your family and can’t even go. The locker room is old and out dated. The classes offered are poor quality. Their membership is severely over priced. They make you sign a year contract which they are not upfront about and can’t get out of. Save your money and go somewhere else.
