An absolute delight! Each time I go I am struck by how professional and high octane the performers are and how well crafted are the sets and costumes. And the space is so well designed that every seat is a great view. It’s an intimate venue, whether the performers are staged or in the round. The staging is always so clever. So much talent! I drive a distance to see the shows and it is ALWAYS worth it.

I'd give it 6 stars if I could! My family has been performing with EDMT for a couple years now and have been hooked since the beginning. It's such a positive and supportive environment while also teaching the kids to work hard. The performances are top notch (and I'm not just saying since my kids perform in them as well)! We truly love the shows that our kids are too young to be in as well. Highly recommend for youth that are interested in performing in musicals and also recommend for others to just come and watch the shows.

This was my daughter’s first experience with musical theatre and she is now hooked! EDMT is amazing! The jr shows are perfect for introducing kids into theatre. We can’t wait for the next show! I can't say enough good things about this organization and the fruit it produces! It's easy to see how incredible the productions are (seriously professional quality for young performers!) —but what you may not see is the immense amount of thought, planning, creativity, and hard work that goes into making them happen. From tons of dedicated volunteers and generous donations to the tireless efforts of the kids and staff for months at a time, every show is a labor of love. But the proof is in the pudding - you can tell that it's all worth it when everyone wants to keep coming back and doing it again! My daughter started a year ago with a training show, and I knew immediately we were hooked. Not just because I watched her blossom throughout that experience (and every show since), but because I discovered how much I love being part of it myself! I genuinely look forward to every production—the time spent painting sets, building props, mic-ing performers, and helping in the dressing rooms. I love being a part of this community and feel so at home here. There’s a unique magic here that’s impossible to describe until you experience it firsthand. There are plenty of youth theater options in our area, but nothing compares to EDMT. The training these kids receive is truly second to none.
