Powered by GoogleEdge Baseball is an absolute joke unless you’re looking for a rec-ball level “travel” team. The owner is basically never around, and there’s one coach who thinks he’s the greatest coach ever and like this is some elite program he has, when in reality most of their teams are a complete joke. To top it off, his own kid doesn’t even play for the program, which pretty much sums up everything wrong here and makes 0 sense. They constantly push the whole #EdgeFam thing online, but it’s honestly just a marketing line. At the end of the day the only thing they really care about is getting your money. Development clearly isn’t the priority, and you can tell just by watching their youth teams play — the skill level and fundamentals simply aren’t there for a program that claims to be “travel” baseball. That also proves how much of a money grab this program is, because majority of their players are terrible yet they charge like it’s some elite organization. When my son was there they also seemed to run good players out of the program while pretending everything is fine, which says a lot about how things are actually run behind the scenes. I’m extremely glad I pulled my kid out of this program. The organization is poorly run, and the facility is honestly pitiful for a program that tries to present itself as high-level. For me personally driving my son a hour to the facility for my son to practice was the biggest waste of time ever. There are far better options out there if you actually want your kid to develop. I recommend Grb or Beast near the verona area. I just wish I had written this review last year before some of you signed up. I’m sure many parents in the program current and past would testify what i’m saying is true.
To be part of this program is to have a second family! Could not recommend this place more! Life changing for my son. They truly care about their players and teach the fundamentals for growth, development and build character. My son is not just a better athlete but human because of Edge and the incredible coaching staff. Come join the Edge Fam!
I cannot recommend Edge Baseball Academy enough! The coaches are top-notch, providing expert instruction with a focus on skill development and personal growth. The facilities are great, creating a professional and motivating environment for players of all ages. My experience at Edge has been nothing short of exceptional, and I have seen significant improvement in my boys games since joining.
Loving Edge Baseball! Our son has improved so much this past year. Over the winter months practicing 2-3 times per week inside at the Edge indoor facility has proven to return positive results. The coaches are all great, Jake, Logan, Damian and now Madison all follow the same philosophy teaching high level skills, making it fun and providing positive feedback to the kids. And our 10U team families are also great, loads of fun to be with at the tournaments. I’m not sure what the two other reviewers are talking about, but our experience has been nothing short of exceptional! Sure, it costs a lot of money when you compare it to your local Little League program. But you get what you pay for as well as the amount of effort you put into it. Having full time paid coaches who are all former high level baseball players and coaches as well as your own indoor facility and equipment all costs money. If you want to play “AA” baseball with great coaching and training at a higher level, than this is it. The expectations and level of effort is high at Edge but the returned gains are also higher if you put in the work. And everyone is having fun, laughing and having a great time win or lose playing all of the tournaments. Oh, and we practice outside once a week as soon as the weather warms up in the spring.
Edge Baseball has been a great experience for my son and family. Logan and his staff work very hard to give the kids better baseball knowledge and exposure. The Edge staff also has tremendous focus on the total athlete and that is something to be celebrated. Long term development is major focus at Edge and I see that. Edge is a great program!
