★Florida 4SONPersonal Observations on Facilities, Costs, and Player Development I am writing this to share my personal experience and perspective as a parent. My goal is not to disparage, but to encourage transparency for other families considering this investment. • Facility & Field Standards: In my opinion, the infrastructure is mediocre and poorly maintained. I have personally observed weeds growing throughout the playing surfaces and significant ant issues all over the fields. Anyone can see this for themselves; you just need to take a walk around the complex or look closely at the turf. Additionally, parking is often insufficient, and the restrooms were consistently in a state of poor maintenance during my visits. • Operational Structure: While the administration is outwardly polite, the competitive structure appears to prioritize volume. In my experience, players are split into A and B teams where the B teams seem to lack the same developmental focus or competitive success. • Cost & Value Discrepancy: Families should be aware of the total financial commitment. Beyond the nearly $1,600 registration, uniforms and tournament fees, I observed a significant emphasis on private coaching sessions (starting at $70/hr). It appeared to me that participation in these paid private sessions often correlated with more significant playing time during games. A Note to Parents: You do not need to take this review—or the club’s potential response—at face value. I am simply sharing my subjective observations of the physical environment and the team dynamics. If you are part of this league or considering it, I encourage you to be vigilant, take a walk around the fields to see the conditions yourself, and observe the training dynamics. This is my personal opinion based on my time with the club; please use it to form your own conclusions.
