DMR Adventures is a performing-arts academy in Charlottesville, Virginia (based at the Belmont Arts Collaborative) that runs summer musical-theater and drama day camps for young people. We started there after her piano teacher suggested it as an alternative since she had a hard time just sitting at the piano. It was the best suggestion ever. She has grown as a singer, dancer, actor and most importantly a human being! The staff is amazing especially during COVID. They have found ways to do musicals virtually and have just started a few small, socially distanced in person classes. All the instructors have impressive resumes themselves and promote a positive atmosphere in which to learn and grow. I highly recommend DMR for the future thespian as well as any kid that needs an outlet for their energy!
