The Destin Community Center runs a City of Destin Parks and Recreation half-day summer camp for children ages 5 to 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday (with a lunch program noon to 1). Days include games, crafts, structured play, snacks, and weekly swim days. Weekly rates are about $85 for residents and $115 for non-residents, and the city also offers specialty camps in basketball, gardening, and fishing.
