Especially something that is dedicated to African Americans is great. It looks like the creator of this place had a passion for this and pursued it. Nice to see so much motivation behind a person. Plus the kids need a place to be able to spend time and be safe during the daylight hours of heat.

★★★TeoIt's a fairly large, quiet park. I metal detect the parks of Albuquerque and this one is fairly clean for Albuquerque standards. Quite a bit of trash in the ground (bottle caps, can slaw, pop tops from beer/soda cans, etc.) but not very much glass or worse, needles, like a lot of the parks I detect. Whoever is in charge of the upkeep of this park does a good job 👍🏼
