I’ve only been a member for about a month and I would recommend this club to anybody who is serious about their fitness goals. Staff is warm and welcoming. Machines are in great condition and it is SUPER CLEAN!!! People have great gym etiquette and re-rack their weights….. I am happy 😊

Beto’s Zumba class on Sunday morning is so fun. Such a great workout and so much fun dancing to the music! You should try it!

I’ve been coming to this gym for years now, on and off, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a single bad experience here. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile or a quick hello when you walk in, if you’re a regular they’ll even remember your name and converse with you so kudos to the workers. Even though the gym itself can’t control who joins, the clientele has always been great too respectful, and generally pleasant to be around. The place stays clean. The workers do a solid job reracking weights after people just leave em around, as well as wiping down equipment, and keeping everything hygienic and well organized. They actually do what they’re supposed to do, which makes a huge difference in how the environment feels That said, I do have a few minor gripes, even though they’re not deal breakers for me. First, the membership costs. I completely understand that prices have gone up everywhere, but this gym charges a pretty hefty amount. It’s definitely not cheap, but since it’s the closest option to where I live and the overall experience is good, I keep paying it without too much complaining. Second, the weekend hours are a bit frustrating. I get that traffic is usually lighter on Saturdays and Sundays, but closing as early as they do feels limiting. I think staying open until at least 8 PM on both days would be a nice improvement. There are plenty of times when life or work gets in the way during the week, and I can’t make it before 5 PM, so those extra hours would really help, and I know many that agree. Third, while the squat rack additions they made a few years back were fantastic and much needed, the gym could still use a little more variety in the machine selection. In my opinion, adding a proper hack squat machine would take this place to the next level. Even better, they could get one of those combo units that doubles as a hack squat and leg press for more value. from what I’ve experienced this gym isn’t too fond of getting new equipment unless it’s needed which is understandable but it’d improve the experience tremendously to replace an old machine here or there. But back to the hack squat real fast, they could replace the current awkward hack squat that’s setup next to the leg press that pretty much untouched. Beyond those points, everything else is excellent. The gym remains clean day in and day out, the people here are friendly, easy to talk to, and quick to offer a spot or advice if someone needs help. It’s a positive environment overall. Great workers, solid atmosphere, and a well run facility. Sure, it’s a little on the pricey side and could benefit from a couple more machine options, but you can’t always have everything how you want. For me, it’s still a pretty easy 5 stars.

Been a member since before this place took over. Like 20+ years. Anyways, you can count on this place doing one thing consistently—closing way too early on holidays. Some of us depend on the gym to maintain an elite level of physical fitness and don’t allow “holidays” to get in the way of this objective. Every “holiday” (in quotations because knowing this place they probably “celebrate” all the “holidays” on the Apple calendar) I call before going in because I’ve been burned one too many times by them closing early on “holidays.” Here we are on NYE and NYD and you guessed it! CLOSING EARLY. It’s just an excuse to rob members and destroy our physical fitness objectives. Really you can’t find two workers to run the place on a “holiday?” Pure greed. Some of us don’t work normal 9 to 5s and also have to work holidays ourselves!! So, on our off days we don’t care what day of the week it is. The weekend hours suck too. Don’t even get me started on the sauna. Complete joke. The old one was great then they put in this “state of the art” one that they hyped up with signs everywhere for a year while building it. Turns out, it doesn’t get above 160 tops. Granted I stopped using it a year ago because it was literally pointless. The benches in it are too low to utilize the little heat that the undersized heater puts out, generally is dirty due to the excessive amount punk kids in it with little to no cleaning of it. And they are obsessed with not allowing water to be put on the heater (e.g., signs about it everywhere). NEWSFLASH: Get a legit sauna heater meant for saunas as they are all meant to have water put on them!!! I study sauna builds and plan on building one myself. I believe they only give out one towel now as the signs read? Oh, and they switched to blue towels I believe. So, I guess they don’t even bleach the towels anymore since blue towels can’t use real bleach? That’s insanely risky and I’ve never seen a gym with anything but white towels. They used to have white towels, as many as you needed, and you could smell that they were bleached so it was great. Idk how that’s not a health department violation and only giving out one towel. So petty. Really? Get some cheap white towels off of Amazon and give away as many as people need. What a hill to die on as a business. Bleach them in hot water after use. Pretty simple but no, they decided to be petty and cheap. How are we supposed to shower with the same towel we use in the sauna? How about the amount of broken lockers. There must be 40+ broken ones on the men’s side and it’s been like this for YEARS. So, every day you have to guess which ones work and everyone knows which ones work so those ones always get taken first. Can’t tell you how often I put my stuff in one and it seems like it works and then when you go to lock it it’s doesn’t fully work despite testing it ahead of time so now you keep looking for new ones that work. Wasting my time. Last complaint is the benches in the big room. They update the equipment frequently but unfortunately when they updated the workout benches last time they got some terrible ones that are too high off of the ground for heavy lifts and they incline in too big of increments. Other guys showed me how to know if it’s the new junk or the old good ones (pro tip: the good ones have the handle in the front perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the bench). Workers are nice and it’s big but I can’t wait until I move to Bethel Island and can go to Diamond Hills gym instead. Wish I could have aired all this out on the surveys they send out but the surveys only ask how the workers treated you. No blank spaces for feedback on their text surveys because apparently their only concern is their workers’ behavior. Who cares about that? It’s a gym we don’t interact with them much All last year I was living in Chicago going to an Equinox gym. So, maybe I’ve become spoiled by a gym that actually cares but they ought to charge more to thin the herd, improve the sauna/showers/lockers/towels and be able to afford to give out more than one towel.

Love this place. They have great Mommy & Me classes, fair pricing for childcare, and lots of amenities. Things to note: they just installed new flooring in the back room and it smells like burnt plastic. I’m sure it will dissipate eventually. The pool area ventilation is also inadequate. Smells like bleach throughout. Also, I wish I had an option for lifting free weights while having baby in tow, but overall I am satisfied
