Debra Sparks Dance Works in Newtown runs themed week-long dance camps for younger dancers, with weeks such as Unicorns, Magic & Rainbows, Wicked and Beauty & The Beast, plus a Summer Intensive for intermediate and advanced dancers running 10am to 3pm - a full day - across two weeks in late July and early August. Summer ballet classes are also offered on Thursdays at $15 per class. The academy teaches ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre and hip hop year round.

It is so relieving that she can be a part of the community and a part of class built for neurotypical minds. Every class is not a walk in the park but Ms Renee is so amazing w her and they have really formed a bond. My daughter enjoys the class for the most part and even does some of her moves at home. I recommend this studio to any family who has a little girl trying dance out for the first time. You won’t be disappointed.
