The Davis Community Center is a nonprofit community and recreation center in Mount Carroll serving Carroll County, with a gymnasium, two fitness centers on a mezzanine overlooking the gym, cardio and strength equipment, and a group fitness room. Alongside youth programs and sports it runs Kids Camps in spring and summer for ages 4-12, including a Spring Break Camp, with registration online or in person at the center. Camp session dates and daily hours are not posted on the site.

Lots of equipment and posters in the walls to show you what can be done on all of it. Lots of classes are starting to be offered. Pickleball appears to be super popular. Staff is all very nice and polite. Very clean facility. Super nice locker rooms and bathrooms. Cons if I had to list any: explicit music controlled by members over the loud speakers in the weight room sometimes. Hours on weekends and holidays make me sad that I have to miss workouts or rearrange my schedule. Those cons are nothing compared to the pros, though, so still 5 stars! ❤️ Would LOVE and would pay extra to have extended hour key card entry like other gyms have to the weight room gym only since I can't get there until later each day.
