Dansations Performing Arts Center is a Jacksonville dance studio whose summer season (from June 29) features themed week-long camps running 8:30am-12:30pm with dance instruction, play time, crafts and a Friday mini-performance, split into age 3-8 and age 8-17 groups. A separate four-week summer dance program (July 7-Aug 1) offers afternoon/evening ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and hip hop classes for ages 3-17.

The variety of classes is fantastic and they offer several times/days for many core classes so it is very convenient. My daughter has thrived here - challenged while not put under pressure. We aren’t currently interested in competition level and really appreciate the studio for not solely focusing on this area of dance (while still offering it for those interested). We may pursue it in the future, and would be happy to continue with Damsations if we did. We also like the fact that the recital/costumes are included in the monthly class fee - no surprises later in the year!
