This studio is, frankly, unacceptable in terms of basic cleanliness and management. The dance rooms and bathrooms are consistently dirty and appear to be neglected on a regular basis. For a business serving children, this level of disregard for sanitation is inexcusable. The owner demonstrates no organization or professionalism. There is little structure to management of the studio, and concerns are dismissed unless they align with her personal preferences. Rather than fostering an inclusive and supportive environment, certain families receive preferential treatment while others are overlooked. A dance studio should be a place where all dancers and families feel respected, valued, and confident in the leadership.

I would not recommend this dance studio based on my experience. Communication from the director is consistently poor, and when parents attempt to ask reasonable questions, the responses are dismissive and unprofessional. As paying customers, we deserve transparency and respect, which has not been the case. There is also a constant instability, including ongoing financial issues by the owner that raise concerns about the studio’s long-term reliability. More importantly, the environment created for the dancers is terrible. Students have been dismissed from the program abruptly, with little consideration for their emotional well-being. Interactions within the studio are frequently tense, where Allison, the owner, yells at both dancers and parents. Leadership should foster a supportive, encouraging atmosphere, especially in an activity centered around young girls confidence and development, but that standard severely falls short. Overall, the studio lacks professionalism, maturity, and respect in its management, which ultimately impacts parents and students in a negative way.

A Parent’s Perspective on Competitive Dance: Disclosure: This is my personal experience and opinion, and may differ from others’. What began as cute, dress-up-style dance classes gradually became a costly and time-consuming commitment. Between conventions, private lessons, travel, and six separate recitals last year charging $25 per person per show, the financial and scheduling demands added up quickly and in my opinion are absurd. Sadly, this year my family and I may not to attend the recital. In my view, much of the experience seems to serve the studio’s business model more than the children's development. Awards often feel like participation trophies, and many of the “opportunities” presented come with more costs. As a parent, I’m regretful that my children didn’t spend more time participating in team sports with their classmates. If you're considering this path, I encourage you to ask detailed questions and evaluate whether it truly aligns with your family’s values and priorities.

Excited to start tap and ballet. Miss Allison was exceptionally polite and has worked hard for her studios. She was very welcoming, and my daughter is excited to start class this fall. The pricing is very reasonable. We'll update as we go further along. The studio appears to be bright, airy, and clean. Update-Miss Courtney is an absolute gem. She's phenomenal for our daughter's tap/ballet combo class. The staff has been very kind. So far, it's been an excellent experience. Stay tuned for recital updates.
