Dance Lakewood is a positive, inclusive, and creative studio of teachers and students alike. It allows every student to find their personal interests and styles while collectively bringing everybody together to have fun dancing. You can take it as seriously as you want to as they also have advanced levels and competition teams you can try out for. I love this studio for my daughter and highly recommend it.

Instructors are on top of it with getting the kids to listen. The waiting area does get hot but the kids are having fun and learning a lot about rhythm and following instructions. Would highly consider if your child just wants to start something. They do have a nice spacious Acro room the kids can use.

Both my daughter and son have attended LDA over the past two years and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The school offers strong and clean techniques across multiple genres (ballet, tap, jazz, and modern) -- they see the kids not with "dance training tunnel vision" but within a holistic view point, fostering a really supportive and loving environment for the students to learn and be challenged. This year my daughter asked to sign up for every possible class as she just can't seem to get enough! All the teachers are focused, have strong training, and really care about their students. It's just a wonderful place for aspiring dancers to follow their dreams!

Love the adult classes - such as encouraging positive place to be with teachers that are so skilled and yet very gracious with with beginner adults
