★Valencia HigginsI worked with D'Amour School of Dance and the owner, Sajanee Mack, for three years, doing photography for the dancers and events — including their June 2025 showcase. For that event, my invoice had a $200 increase to cover travel, extra hours, and $100 for equipment I bought specifically for the shoot. Even though I provided the service, and offered flexible payment options (including a payment plan), the client didn’t review the invoice at the time and has still not paid what’s owed. I tried to work with her, but nothing came of it. Unfortunately, because of this, the parents and kids won’t be able to receive their photos. Parents and vendors, beware.

The hip hop class was super fun for my daughter who hates ballet and she gained a lot of confidence and poise from doing it. The summer showcase was fun, but not cheap to participate in, so be forewarned. We would take classes there again if they offered Hip-Hop by our house.
