Powered by GoogleWe absolutely love D-BAT New Braunfels! My son is 14 now and started baseball just two years ago with zero experience. From the very beginning, D-BAT has been incredibly welcoming and supportive. One of our favorite things is walking in and having everyone know his name—it truly feels like a community. The coaches always take the time to connect, and their encouragement has meant so much to his confidence and growth. The coaching staff has done an amazing job helping him catch up and develop alongside other players who have been playing much longer. Their instruction is patient, skilled, and genuinely invested in each player’s progress. A special thank you to Chris, Brett, and all of the coaches for creating such a positive and encouraging environment. We are so grateful to be part of the D-BAT family. Highly recommend!
The reason why I gave two stars is because my child was signed up for a camp. I left for a while as did all other parents and when I came back midway to check on things, Coach Raelynn was yelling at kids and talking down to them. My child also came back from camp extremely thirsty. Apparently my child ran out of water and when they asked Coach Evan, he told them to just wait for mom and dad... So my child was supposed to go without water for a few hours while doing a physical camp? When I addressed this issue, I was told there was water up front or sinks in the bathroom for water refills. At the very least, call the parent and I would have brought more. Not thrilled with things happening when parents aren't present. Beware bringing your children to these camps or stay the entire time. Another parent had a 1:1 session for their child and witnessed a different coach yelling at his camp for the day as well. Separate day, separate coach, separate camp. Seems like a trend.
Good place to get batting practice. The staff are extra nice and helpful.
Staff is incredibly friendly, and the facilities are in good shape. Our son has learned so much and improved significantly with his lessons with Evan
