Powered by GoogleThis place charge to get in for tournament, which is fine because everybody charges, but the insulation is falling down of the ceiling. It is extremely hot in there Me as a parent It is super hot to be in there and I can’t imagine how hot the kids are when they’re playing. They need to use the money to upgrade the AC at this place so the tournaments can continue. this is an awful place to have volleyball tournaments when it’s extremely hot. It’s hot outside already and it’s so hot inside The irony is that it’s cooler to be outside instead of being inside.
I have no idea why this place is allowed to host tournaments! This has to be one of, if not the worst, place we’ve ever played at. First, there’s no parking! There are very few spots at the actual facility and everyone else has to park on the street, which is usually coned off and nearby business parking lots don’t allow Court One parking. You end up parking half a mile away. Second, the place is falling apart. The ceiling leaks, and as you can see, it’s literally hanging on for dear life. The bathrooms are always dirty, not to mention super small. Lastly, but not least, the concession stand. They don’t have water fill stations, yet charge $3.00 for water. They restrict outside food, yet only sell chips, junk, and energy drinks (just what every athlete needs). It’s also BYO chair, because they don’t have enough bleachers. The fact that we have to pay for entry into this place is absurd. (Did I mention it’s freezing inside?!)
Facility is clean, just need to put some padding on the bleecher corners. The girls can get seriously hurt sliding for a ball.
What a dump! AZ Region, stop playing in this place with no heat! The girls are going to get injured it's so ridiculously cold. It's literally colder inside than out. And Court One, how about you figure it out and get heaters and AC in this place, or move. Unreal you charge $10 to have to freeze our butts off in this neglected facility.
This place looks nice on the outside but it is run down on the inside. Idk what the tinfoil on the roof is about. It’s literally hanging in some spots. The parking is 100% a nightmare. On tournament days you are parking far away unless you get there at 630am. In the wintertime it is BEYOND freezing. There is no heat whatsoever. These girls are doing tournaments in shorts and it’s colder inside than outside. No food allowed. If they catch you eating they will penalize your team 13 points on the next game. One of the tournaments we went to my mother in law came. I paid for all the wristbands at the same time… $8 for adults, and $5 for kids. While walking in she got separated from us and the place is loud. When I realized I wasn’t with us I turned back and she was still at the entrance because they wouldn’t let her pass without proof of the wristband. A 70 yr old woman is not sneaking in to a high school volleyball tournament. Get real. So I had to take her wristband back to prove we had paid. I dread the tournaments my daughter has at this facility… especially in the winter. Not a good experience in any sense.
