Powered by GoogleMy daughter (12) and I have gotten to spend several quiet Friday evenings enjoying each other's company. We both got to de-stress after a long week. Pottery painting has been great for us and we have managed to create some beautiful designs. Everyone who works here is very nice and helpful, if you need it, or willing to leave you to your own devices, if you don't. Nice quiet environment with soft music going. No one rushes you. Highly recommend.
Our daughter attends the homeschool art class here as well as holiday camps. This is a well-equipped school full of several different studios and effective instructors. We are amazed at the kind of artwork our daughter comes home with each week. It is definitely providing a structured, sequential art education with explicit testing in theory (principles, elements etc) that allows students to rank up and collect progression pins on their aprons. Given how effective this school is I'm eager to get my daughter involved with it as much as I can. Definitely recommended for anyone wanting a structured art education for their children with attention to mechanics and theory.
Cordovan Art School is such a blast! I came with my two kids on a Thursday afternoon. They had art classes going on, and it was full of life and fun. We picked our pottery and sat in the lobby. Paul was soo incredible/knowledgeable about the process. He was also great with kids. My kids finished up before me, and they were losing interest. He was so kind and patient with them. He went out of his way to tend to them so I could finish my piece. Come check it out! You won’t regret it! We will be back!
My daughter attended her first summer art camp at Cordovan this week. They had the opportunity to interact with various live animals, which she loved. They didn't 2 - 3 projects per day, and gained experience with various techniques and mediums. We will definitely attend other classes!
This art school has been nothing short of a dream come true for my children! The experience here allowed them to unleash their creativity and craft something truly special to cherish. The staff is incredibly talented, friendly, and nurturing—creating a warm atmosphere that inspires artistic exploration. The summer camps are a parent's paradise! They keep the kids engaged and motivated to create, all while enjoying a fun and imaginative environment. With countless materials and techniques at their fingertips, my children were thrilled to experiment and express themselves through art. If you're looking for a place where your kids can grow, learn, and create unforgettable memories, look no further. I can't recommend this art school enough! 🎨✨
