Sugar Land Art Center & Gallery, a community art center and gallery, runs week-long summer day camps for kids ages 5–14 (9am–4pm, late May through early August). Art Camp covers acrylic painting, watercolor, oil pastels, sketching, drawing, and sculpture; a separate Lego Camp focuses on building. Over 600 kids attend each summer. Located on Industrial Boulevard.

I would encourage you to take at least 30 minutes to an hour lunch break or after work and visist its halls and possibly talk with artist that creating work.
