I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with The Art Cellar of Houston in various capacities for over five years. During my tenure as the Director of Programming for a class-A commercial real estate portfolio, the founder, Sarah Lowe, and her team at The Art Cellar of Houston proved to be invaluable partners. What truly distinguishes The Art Cellar of Houston is Sarah’s unwavering can-do spirit. She consistently demonstrates a remarkable willingness to brainstorm and execute innovative ideas for engaging events. Their services included on-site guided art classes and the curation and management of monthly art markets at 5 to 6 different locations across our four Houston campuses. When the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to adapt to a virtual format, Sarah promptly embraced the challenge. Together, we successfully transitioned our events to a fully virtual platform, initially delivering art kits to participants’ front doors to ensure they could join in. The collaboration quickly evolved, resulting in flourishing virtual events that could accommodate as many as 500 participants, often with waiting lists exceeding 100 individuals for a single class. The Art Cellar of Houston’s conveniently located studio in the energy corridor played a pivotal role in facilitating safe and efficient kit pick-up processes. As our tenants began to return to their offices, Sarah and her team seamlessly transitioned the pick-up process to our properties while still offering the classes virtually so people could attend them from the safety of their homes. In late 2021, we were thrilled to reintroduce in-person art markets to our properties, all thoughtfully curated by Sarah. These markets featured a diverse array of local artisans, artists, bakers, and more, offering unique products to our clients. The markets consistently drew several hundred visitors, with our clients expressing genuine appreciation for the distinctive offerings curated by Sarah. Furthermore, I engaged Sarah and her team to be a part of on-site midday events which included activities such as pumpkin painting, cookie decorating, and, uniquely, water-color painting using coffee, tea, and herbs in celebration of earth day. I’ve also had the privilege of working with Sarah on a personal level when I organized a baby shower for a family member. Sarah’s ingenious idea of painting onesies and baby bibs during the part was a resounding success, delighting guests and the expectant mother. The personalized keepsakes created during the event continue to be cherished by the mother-to-be, even four years later. Throughout our partnership, we have consistently received glowing feedback from our clients about Sarah and her team. I wholeheartedly recommend The Art Cellar of Houston for both corporate and personal events. Sarah’s proactive approach and passion for crafting creative and unforgettable experiences, where participants can truly make their art their own, make her an exceptional choice for any occasion.

Art Cellar Houston truly made my daughter’s party a success. Sarah and her team are true professionals, very accommodating, helpful, and kind. They kept us informed every step of the way during the planning, and even worked with me to create the perfect design for our party! They created an environment that was structured and organized while still remaining fun and flexible, stoking the little ones’ creativity. They gave my daughter and her friends an experience they won’t forget! All art studios are not created equal; Art Cellar Houston definitely stands out from the rest. We look forward to returning soon!

We are super excited for summer camps at the art cellar to start! My daughter absolutely loves going to the art cellar, Mrs Sarah and Luna are the best! Highly recommend the classes and camps for the kids!! We tried the DIY class this weekend and it is so fun! Sarah’s instruction is so great and easy to follow. The best thing is you can pause and restart when you are ready. I highly recommend the Art Cellar and all it’s classes!
