We’ve come here for years to paint pottery and have loved all the options. There are fun seasonal ceramics, lots of animal figurines, mugs, plates, bowls, and platters to choose from. The glazes are all food safe and they have a wide rainbow of colors. Paint your pieces and then pick them up after they’ve been fired! Fun summer and holiday art camps for painting, drawing, and pottery are great for kids. Formal ceramics and art classes for adults are offered from September through May with an art show before school lets out for the Summer. The instructors are professional artists and know their craft well. They are encouraging to all students, and help each student progress and build their skills and portfolios. Cordovan has a “Level Up In Art” program to encourage students to apply the principles, elements, and techniques learned in class that have been used in their art pieces and share them with the class. Overall it’s a great place to spend an afternoon painting pottery or join a weekly class to build your skills and find a great art community!

Our kids have been attending camps at Cordovan for years. They come home with delightful drawings, paintings, and ceramic creations. We just love it.

Cordovan has been a fantastic experience for our family. The classes allow for creativity to blossom while guiding students in expanding their artistic skill set. Would highly recommend this location for anyone who is looking to start or continue their art journey in a welcoming and inclusive environment that supports your growth as an artist, no matter where you are in your journey as an artist.

My daughter has been attending art classes at Cordovan for a year now and she absolutely loves it. Her skills have improved substantially since she started and she loves trying a new medium for her creativity. It has been wonderful to watch her confidence grow in such a supportive environment.

This place is just the cutest! I went here with my sister to paint some pottery and the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful when we had some questions about the painting process. The music was great and the atmosphere was calming which made the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing afternoon painting. Everything was very clean and well organized as well which made things very easy to manage. I had a lovely time!
