My 6yr old Son has been attending Code Ninja Frisco West for a year now. When he first started at 5yrs old, Even though He could navigate iPhone & iPad and PS5 and Nintendo switch consoles. He was not comfortable using the computer, keyboard and mouse. Since joining Code Ninja Frisco West, he’s become comfortable and confident with using the keyboard and mouse. Learning to navigate and use keyboard, mouse in turned helped him become comfortable with his Chromebook at school. He has completed his First-Degree White Belt in the Code Ninja program. He learned how to make sprites collide, chase, and interact—turning simple code into exciting gameplay. It provides him a place where can expand his creativity and problem-solving skills, as well as build fun, dynamic projects. He now also does their robotics class and loves it. Code Ninja Frisco West 💯 an afterschool program he always looks forward to.

I have three daughters in Grades 2-8. The curriculum is based on individual work on a set block or Java Script assignment, allowing students to move ahead at their own pace. The teachers assist them whenever they get stuck, so they can learn coding efficiently. The younger daughter, who had no interest in coding, is enjoying the class as it gradually progresses through games development. The older children who knew some coding are also working on higher level assignments and improving their skills. The class can be made up freely between Tuesdays and Saturdays, so it is easy to fit it into our lifestyle, and it has become our favorite learning experience.

My son has loved code ninjas and he has learned so much. When he started, he couldn’t even read yet but was still able to succeed. I would even say it helped with his ability to read. Recommend dropping your kid off and then walking across the street to White Rhino coffee to take a little adult coffee time. I love that they send out weekly emails about your kid’s progress and able to even play the games they make. I am a coder myself so I love being able to actually see the logic of how he made things. Their summer camps are also wonderful and range from learning to create Minecraft / Roblox worlds, robotics, and 3d printing. Highly recommend!
