The Coastal Studies Institute at ECU's Outer Banks Campus in Wanchese runs week-long marine-science summer day camps for ages 10-17. Themes cover coastal marine biology and ecology, coastal engineering, and marine science technology and remote sensing, blending STEM with hands-on coastal fieldwork. Camps run 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, June through August.
