I am on the men’s gymnastics team and this place is amazing! Great coaches who care and want to help you do your best. I have been here for 3-4 years so far and have had a great experience. I have done great in meets and love Clovis Academy.

This gym has been such a waste of my time and money. My daughter was never evaluated before starting and was too advanced for her class, this was acknowledged the first week. We were told she needed a slip from the coach stating she could move on to a higher class, we got the slip and I couldn’t turn it in because the front desk was closed two weeks in a row before closing time. Heather who sits in the front is not friendly at all and denied the office was closed earlier. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. (You can see in the photo the desk was closed, the date and time at 6:45pm on a Monday)

My kids were going here for about a month but started noticing some weird racist stuff happening. Anytime I had to speak with anyone it was impossible and the receptionist lady is very rude and passive aggressive. Wouldn't recommend.

My young son really enjoys it here. I really like how there is a designated kinder area with the option to use the “big gym” when the “big kids” are not using it. My son’s coach is genuine and really enjoys teaching the kids. She makes class fun and my son is always very excited to go back. The different women who work at the front desk are pleasant and are always able to answer my questions with ease. It might be the time/day of my son’s class, but it is a very small class size, which works very well for him.

I should’ve written this long ago. My daughter has been attending here for over a year and I can honestly say this place is not a quality gymnastics gym to all girls. I noticed throughout the year that they have their chosen ones and they do place all their effort and focus on them however all the other girls (the ones that do not compete)- girls like my daughter that go to get motivated and learn end up being ignored. The whole management team and staff are careless when it comes to these girls. For me, it’s not about the money- it’s about my daughter learning and moving up to get her motivated and she didn’t get that here. You have to chase management around to speak to someone and they always find ways to justify themselves and they have the audacity to blame the children. I’m sorry but the inefficient ones and the ones that lack good teaching skills are 70% of the instructors there. I dropped my daughter and she’ll be going where they do care. Clovis Unified should really look into this place. The fact that they have a waiting list means absolutely nothing. It’s simply means that as soon as parents find out just how bad this place is they take their kids with them. What a shame, to use Clovis Unified as a base to deceive parents into thinking this place is actually any good.
