★★ieshia williamsI gave it 3 stars because I didn't like the way LoveJoy police screamed over his loud speaker in an angry voice and told the kids" STOP PLAYING AND GET OUT THE PARK" like damn it's daylight saving time and it's the weekend and it's still light outside. That was rude! He scared the kids to the point. The kids between ages 2-10 were running and damn near fell to get out the park.
★★★★Chika VinI took my family to visit my parents. My kids want to play and we went to Lovejoy community center. It's a beautiful park/community center. They have 2 full basketball courts, a small lake ( no fishing allowed) kids playground with swings, music instrument, jungle gym etc. They have gazebo that you can rent for events, they have a stage structure where live music and shows can be performed. They also have a paved trail for walking, running whatever you like. It's a nice place.
★★★★TeejBooked Suite C across street from community center building. Friendly staff. Affordable spot for a baby shower with adequate parking and easy to GPS. They provide tables and chairs. Chairs included banquet and folding. Unaware, thankfully my chair covers fit both. Fit 4 Rectangle 6 Foot tables up front 2 on each side of the door, 10- 120 inch round tables throughout, 80 Total Folding and Banquet chairs. Also a 6ft Rectangle table for the guests of honor. The staff sets up and breaks down tables and chairs. I left a 4 feet folding table there Saturday, but they were so polite to look around for it, but were unable to locate it on Monday. Probably went with one of our helpers. Very good experience.
★★★★★Arica DukesMy son loves this place and I love it for him. The turf is well managed and safe for my speedy/clumsy toddler. My favorite thing about this park is the childproof gate. And the fact that there are 2 slides and swings makes this place perfect in his eyes lol. I just need a bench inside the fence for when I have the baby in the stroller nearby. Last time we went I noticed parents were sitting on swings that the kids wanted to hop on.
