Powered by GoogleThis daycare seemed great during the tour, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. On my daughter’s very first day, I witnessed her teacher yank her by the arm. My daughter was wearing a cast and was in a wheelchair at the time, which made the situation even more concerning. She didn’t even complete two full days there before I decided I was no longer comfortable with her care. The same day, they claimed my daughter had head lice. After that, it seemed like every time she returned, they would say they found head lice again. Despite my daughter not attending for two weeks, I was still charged for daycare. I was told that a two-week notice was required to stop billing, even if my child was not attending. What upset me the most was the complete lack of concern after the incident with the teacher. No one apologized, checked on my daughter, or reached out to reassure me that she would be safe and cared for. As a parent, that was extremely disappointing and made me feel like my concerns did not matter. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this daycare. Parents deserve to feel confident that their children are safe, respected, and cared for, especially when they have special needs or injuries.
I can’t say enough good things about Children’s Learning Adventure. My child has been here for three months, and as soon as you walk in Ms. Taylor greets you; she’s been so sweet and caring from the start. Drop-offs were really hard at first, but her teacher Ms. Katera has made such a big difference. She’s the only one my child doesn’t cry with and always wants to show me what she did that day, which honestly says everything. Ms. Katera is so kind, patient, and really takes the time to talk my daughter through her feelings. She’s amazing when it comes to social and emotional learning, and I’ve seen so much growth because of her. I always feel comfortable leaving my child with Ms. Katera. Definitely recommend 🤍
Poor management- My daughter got stung by a wasp 3 times on premises and Mrs. Thompson, the current CLA Director failed to notify both parents. Mrs. Thompson only notified their Father. Would it not make most sense to contact both parents? Furthermore, both my children self reported to me that the bathroom facilities do not have any soap, that there are red cockroaches every where my children are eating , and sadly my daughters are afraid to use the bathroom at CLA because no one monitors the bathrooms when my daughters need to use the restroom facilities. Why are my children self reporting to me that they are scared to use the bathrooms on the premises? They have been holding in their number one and number 2 because the teacher to student ratio is beyond what they can handle. This is the worst daycare in the area. STAY CLEAR
We’ve been enrolled at CLA for almost 2 years and have had nothing except a wonderful experience. The environment is always clean, organized, and safe, which gives us great peace of mind. From the moment you walk in, the staff is welcoming, friendly, and genuinely caring. The teachers are absolutely amazing—patient, attentive, and truly dedicated to helping each child learn and grow. We couldn’t be happier with the care and education our boys receive here and highly recommend this preschool to any family seeking childcare!
Our children have been going here for over a year and we love it. The staff have been amazing at taking care of our children--very attentive and kind. The PreK teacher is PHENOMENAL and our child learned so much from them in just a short time. The chef on staff is very diligent about our children's food allergies. We have conversations regularly about what is on the menu and they do a great job catering to not only their needs but also their wants to make sure my children feel included. The administration is attentive and makes us feel welcome and heard. We are so grateful we made the switch here.
