Children's Harbor is a nonprofit providing free camps, retreats, and family programs for children with serious illnesses and disabilities on a 66-acre campus on Lake Martin near Alexander City. The overnight campsite hosts more than 30 medically supported camp sessions each year, many staffed by healthcare professionals from Children's of Alabama, with a zero-entry pool, waterfront, canoeing, courts, an accessible treehouse, and mini-golf. All programs are offered at no cost to the families and partner organizations served.
