Chester Valley Dance Academy in Exton runs week-long themed dance camps for boys and girls ages 3-10, running Monday to Friday from 9am to noon - a half-day format - with weeks including Sparkle + Spells, Pop Star (Taylor's Version), Barbie Dance Party and Enchanted Princess, each mixing dance with arts and crafts, games and movement activities. Older dancers can take a three-day Commercial Dance Intensive covering jazz, hip-hop and heels, or a four-day Classical Dance Intensive in ballet, modern and contemporary. All the teachers care about their students and are masters in their craft. My son has attended Ballet classes, participated in the Nutcracker, and participated in their theater program. As an ASD young person he has found compassion and kindness. He is welcomed at every turn and has found an ever increasing love of dance and theater. Finally, I have loved the adult tap class. It had been years since I took a dance class, and found it had fun, great exercise, and I met some really nice people. Whether you are a beginner or advanced dancer, a preschooler, teen, or adult...CVDA has a class for you. Our family gives this academy the highest recommendation.

Our daughter has been a part of the program for 9 years. During the Pandemic they saved a lot of children and teens by keeping the studio open utilizing precautions as well as doing the classes online. This allowed some normalcy for the students. Ms Barbara is the kindest person and always willing to help answer your questions. Ms Cathy cares about each student and makes sure they are safe and ready to advance to the next level. This prevents injury to the students which is so important. I cant say enough good things about CVDA!
