My two daughters started dancing at Charlene's School of Dance when they were 4 years old. Now entering our 10th year at CSD, words cannot express how much they have grown, and continue to grow, not only as dancers, but as young women. The staff at CSD not only provides top notch dance instruction, but also lessons that go far beyond the dance floor. Dancing at CSD has taught my girls confidence, self-discipline, respect, dedication, dependability and teamwork. The bonds they have made with their friends and teachers over the years are priceless. CSD's love for the art of dance and their students is evident at each performance. Audiences are provided with seamless professional productions; and the smiles on the dancers faces as they perform says it all. I am so thankful that I made the decision 10 years ago to inquire about dance classes for my little girls. We love CSD!

My daughter was a student at CSD for fifteen years. Everyone at CSD became a second family to my daughter. CSD offers top notch instruction in all styles of dance. They also gave my daughter the opportunity to work with guest instructors and choreographers from across the country. The dancers at CSD also get to experience the world of dance as part of the National Cherry Blossom Festival parade, as Company dancers at competitions and through performances such as “The Nutcracker All Jazz’d Up,” various community performances and the yearly recital. Beyond the excellent instruction, being a student at CSD helped my daughter develop self-discipline, confidence, poise, a solid work ethic and helped foster a sense of teamwork. The important life lessons my daughter learned, paired with dance instructors without parallel, lead me to recommend CSD without reservation as a dance school without equal. Denise Latoche
