I was very disappointed with my overall experience. I signed my daughter up to do a production instead of classes. I didn’t realize at the time that it was $199.00 a month. I thought it was a one time payment for the entire production. She only had two lines. She had to come up with three different costumes. She told me since she didn’t have speaking parts, she colored for a hour during rehearsals while they worked with rest of the cast that had lines to read. They didn’t teach her up stage, down stage, nothing about stage direction. They also took her picture without my permission and posted it on their IG without my knowledge or consent. I will find a better theater for her to learn drama.

My daughter has been in many productions with CYT over the years and it just keeps on getting better and better. The shows are fantastic and so entertaining. These kids are kind, hardworking and talented. The instructors are the best and so passionate about creating great experiences.

I recently had the immense pleasure of attending the final performance of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at Chandler Youth Theater, and I cannot express enough how thoroughly enjoyable and heartwarming the experience was. From the very first note to the final curtain, the production was a testament to the dedication and talent of both the young performers and the wonderful team behind the scenes. I must extend my sincere appreciation to the management and instructors of this fine theater. The way they teach and encourage these young people is truly inspiring. It’s clear that the students are not only learning the craft of performance but also invaluable life skills. The joy and confidence they displayed on stage were a direct result of the care and encouragement they've received. It’s rare to see such a combination of professionalism and passion in a community theater setting. A special mention must also be made of the set design. It was absolutely charming, particularly the large painting of Rudolph during his first flight. The detail and vibrancy of the artwork brought so much life to the production, and I found myself captivated by it. If it was indeed a painting, I would love to know where it was purchased or, if it was painted specifically for the show, who the artist is. I’m quite interested in getting in touch with them—if they’re open to it, I actually have a job opportunity that might be of interest. If you could kindly pass my contact information along to the artist, I’d be very grateful. Thank you again to everyone at Chandler Youth Theater for creating such a wonderful and memorable experience.

Chandler Youth Theater has been an incredible experience for our daughter over the past few years. From performing to singing and exploring a variety of creative activities, she always has an amazing time. The owners and staff are dedicated to fostering a positive environment where kids can grow and thrive. Thanks to their guidance, our daughter has developed a remarkable confidence in public speaking and singing. She feels completely at ease performing in front of an audience—even at karaoke nights on a cruise ship! We couldn’t ask for a better place for her to explore her love of the arts.
