Powered by GoogleI have been with CCC for about nine years now. When I first auditioned, I was nervous, as any little kid would be, but the director, Mrs. Stewart, was so kind. Ever since, this choir has been my family. I cannot imagine my life without it. Not only have I met so many amazing people, my skills as a singer and musician have also grown so much. If you want to join a choir, join Chandler Children’s Choir! Much love, from Hannah Shafer ♥️
This choir is absolutely amazing!! I’ve been in it for 6-7 years, maybe longer. It helped me grow my love for music! I absolutely enjoy going to choir every week, you build strong friendships and you get to learn music at the same time! It’s the best thing I’ve ever joined. The CCC is my favorite choir ever. All the people there are super kind and amazing! I’m so glad I joined this choir, it is so much fun and I really do suggest joining! It’s an amazing and one of a kind experience!
This isn’t the first Phoenix-area choir my daughter has belonged to but it is the best one. The leadership is very professional and student expectations are clear. The audition process was (appropriately) rigorous and the children are getting a solid musical education in addition to having opportunities to perform. Communication with parents is good and they are responsive to questions. There are no unnecessary meetings or fundraisers. The tuition cost is a good value. Rehearsal night check in and check out procedures are safe and effective and age-appropriate. I highly recommend this choir as a place for your young vocalist to grow.
This choir is a fantastic, positive influence on our teenager. Our child started in the Junior choir in 3rd grade and she has moved through the Encore Choir and now the Cantus Choir, which is mostly high school age performers. The concerts sound and look amazing and are well organized. The staff and directors are top-notch and the performers feel loved and appreciated. The staff have been able to navigate the Covid19 Pandemic to make the concerts accessible via streaming on YouTube, which has been a huge blessing because my family members in Washington State and Canada can now watch our daughter perform. In an era on online learning, isolation and loneliness, our daughter has thrived in this supportive and educational choir.
My daughter has been a member for 3 years beginning when she went to a camp with friends put on by CCC. We have been extremely impressed with her vocal improvement since attending, the wide repertoire of songs they sing including in multiple languages really has diversified her knowledge of music. My daughter loves the challenge of the songs chosen and we are in awe of the beauty when the choir comes together for performances. As a musician and singer myself, I recognize the talent within this organization, both in students and instructors. Mrs Stewart is an amazing director, she stands with integrity and is inspiring- something these teenagers need as a good example. Mr. Campbell, the piano accompanist, is extremely gifted and definitely makes their shows even more spectacular! We drive over an hour (each direction) from the far west valley just to attend this program weekly.
