Powered by GoogleI want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to Center Stage of Monrovia Musical Theatre, Keely Milliken, and her incredible team for the most meaningful gift they give our kids: confidence. My son, Pasha, recently performed in a school talent show, and what stood out most wasn’t just the performance itself — it was the way he walked onto that stage with zero doubt, zero hesitation, and zero fear. He felt confident, loved, and completely himself. Confidence isn’t something children are simply born with — it’s built. It grows in environments where kids are consistently lifted up, believed in, and reminded of their strengths. That is exactly what Keely and her team create every single day. They don’t just teach musical theater; they help raise children who trust themselves, feel safe being seen, and truly believe they belong on any stage. Thank you for your time, your hearts, and your unwavering dedication to loving our children and investing so deeply in who they are becoming. You help them recognize their strength, embrace who they are, and stand tall in the world. This is more than theater. This is shaping confident humans — and that matters more than words can say. Forever grateful. 💫
This was my daughter Isabella's first experience with the Centre Stage summer camp and she absolutely LOVED IT!!! She came home everyday excited to tell me all the fun things she learned and the friends she made! She couldn't stop talking about all the amazing volunteers and staff members whom made her feel at home away from home. She would spend the rest of the evening showing us what she learned or had been practicing that day. She had a look of pride and confidence that I had never seen before. I cannot thank Centre Stage enough for what they have provided my daughter these last few weeks! This has been an experience that she will never forget. We look forward to continuing our participation in Centre Stage classes in the fall and summer camps in the future! Thank you Ms. Keely, your amazing staff and loving volunteers ❤️
My children joined Centre Stage in Monrovia almost 4 years ago and it has been an amazing experience. They have been a part of 3 fall musicals, 3 summer camps and many classes. They have learned how to be confident on a stage while having lots of fun. The teachers are inclusive, kind and knowledgeable! We look forward to many more years here!
Centre Stage in Monrovia has been an exceptional experience for my daughter. Taking voice lessons and classes there, she has not only improved her vocal skills but also found a welcoming community. The instructors are passionate and skilled, offering comprehensive performing arts education. What truly sets Centre Stage apart is their ability to create a nurturing environment where students can grow both as performers and individuals. My daughter has made great friends and always looks forward to her time at the studio. The performance opportunities they provide are invaluable, allowing students to showcase their developing talents. Overall, Centre Stage has become an integral part of my daughter's life, fostering her love for music and performance in a supportive and enriching atmosphere.
I was a student at Centre Stage in my tween and teen years. I took voice, dance, and was in a performance troupe. It was one of the highlights of my childhood and I took the lessons I learned at Centre Stage into adulthood with me. Without Keely and the Centre Stage family, I don’t know that I would have become who I was meant to be. I am now a nationally recognized author, motivational speaker, social media presence, and I’ve even recorded my own album. Centre Stage left a lasting impression on me. I thought I was learning how to sing and dance but really I was learning how to unabashedly and unapologetically be myself. For all of these reasons I have enrolled my own children in Summer Camp this year and I already see the positive affect it’s having on all three of them. More confidence, more discipline, forming friendships, and learning how to take instruction along with a bit of corrective criticism. My children are my greatest treasure and I am very protective over who I allow to influence them. The teachers and staff at Centre Stage are some of the best human beings I’ve ever met. Kind, selfless, gentle, and wise— your children won’t just be receiving instruction on how to perform their part in a musical, belt the best solo, or perfect a time step but they’ll be valued. They’ll be seen. They’ll be listened to. They'll be loved. I cannot recommend Centre Stage enough. From attendee, and now Centre Stage parent, you’ve found the right group. Welcome home!
