Powered by GoogleWas here for my sister's gymnastics competition. Everything was fine except for the men's bathroom having curtains instead of stall doors. I hope that you realize that in most cases, it's illegal to have curtains instead of doors.
We were relieved that we gave CPAG a test run during the summer instead of committing to a full school year. Most notable is the impressively rude management. The majority of staff we encountered were cold or looked unhappy to be there, with few exceptions...a predictable trickle-down effect of poor management. Office staff appeared inconvenienced when asked for assistance. Facilities are underwhelming at best and unwelcoming to parents. I'm confident this place would be out of business if it had any type of competition nearby. Save your time or keep your expectations low.
I can only say great things about CPAG. The staff is tentative to the children and adept at teaching gymnastics. The kids just have blast of course! I also took notice to the many different skill levels- from very little ones to teenagers. This facility is one of the most diverse establishments in the Harrisburg area, and we love an all-inclusive place to trust our kiddos at! If you’re looking for a sport/hobby/(or just to tire them out) try CPAG!
I can’t say enough about Central Pennsylvania Academy of Gymnastics. I have a daughter with special needs. She was 3ish when we started signing up for classes. Her developmental delay wasn’t so obvious at the beginning but became more obvious as she got older. CPAG’s teachers were all amazing, positive, patient and so supportive. They went out of their way to keep her included in the group and actually had a shadow just for her to keep her focused (she also has ADHD) and on task. If I brought up an issue, they were very responsive. They were always willing to work with me. I’ll never forget calling them in tears because somehow I missed sign up. They worked magic to get her in. I was so grateful. They are really good people. The classes were great for her balance and strength as well as her confidence. They just do a spectacular job. I loved that place and was sad when my girl aged out.
My kids absolutely love CPAG!! The staff is so friendly and patient. You can tell they really care about the kids! My daughter wants to do her birthday party there next year! Very nice facility and always really clean for the gymnasts!
