Powered by GoogleWe showed up, got all of our children out of the car and they were so excited at 2:40 with over 2 hours of open time left. The staff told us they are closing at 3 because barely any other people have showed up to play. There was a family already playing in the splash park so we were stunned to find out about the early closing. Now we have very upset kids who were promised the splash park on a beautiful day outside with over 2 hours to continue playing. Very upset about this. Would not recommend.
I started visiting Altoona,pa in the early 90's for the summer. This place housed some of the best five on five leagues, along with mansion park, and Leopald. It was nostalgic to walk in there so many years later and sign my 7yr old son up for basketball, and my 5 yr old daughter up for Baton twirling. This place is one of the places you want your kids involved with for the summer. 👍
Select discount Amusement park tickets sold here and the prices can't be beat! Tickets vary each season so check out their website before your next adventure. Tickets are NOT limited to a specific visit date but they do expire after each season.
My daughter did a cheerleading group here and the Altoona Girls were amazing Not to mention that we were able to get her into it for only 20$ because the BlairRec offers a scholarship and paid most. The blair rec center its self is a good place for altoona area kids to go after school and stay out of trouble.
I love Blair Rec bc it is a place where children are able to join in activities to become better at something they have already been a part of before or to learn a new activity all together. Giving children the chance to find an activity they actually enjoy helps to keep them active and make new friends in the process which can also teach them to be more outgoing.
