CaZo Dance Center in Mesa runs week-long summer dance camps for ages 3-12 (with a separate teen program for ages 14-19). The camps mix dance classes with games, stories, tumbling, and arts and crafts. The teen week-long program runs daily from 9:00am to 3:00pm; the younger camp's hours are not separately posted.

However, my growth as a dancer plateaued, and Cazo wasn’t able to provide a higher level of classes and technique to support my continued progress. Unfortunately, I also experienced bullying by other dancers at this studio, which took away from the classes that I participated in with some wonderful teachers. Note: If this review were solely based on my experiences with Miss April and Kunta, it would easily be 5 stars. I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to learn from them.

It's such an inclusive and supportive community, there is no competition and it really promotes friendship building and cooperation. There are so many unique classes to take, including aerial silks and tap. Cazo is also an Arizona ESA vendor, making it easy for our homeschooling family to take lots of classes. A couple of my daughters were very shy before we started at Cazo and they have gained so much confidence in themselves that it's changed them as people. Cannot say enough good things about our studio!
