Powered by GoogleCan Play has had a huge impact on our family. Dealing with differing abilities can be difficult. Can Play is fun, friendly and adapts to every individual need. The CanPlay staff and volunteers make adapting sports easy but I know it’s not! CanPlay is the best program ever!
CanPlay is a breath of fresh air! If you are considering, I highly encourage you to sign up for a camp. We had tried different activities before- they were good programs, but not really the right fit for us. Our first experience with CanPlay was the basketball courage league. I don't think I will ever forget how I felt after that first game/practice. I was overwhelmed with happiness and gratitude. I wish we would have found CanPlay earlier. Melissa is so wonderful- positive, encouraging and patient. She has hired great staff/volunteers too. My kid was engaged and so proud as he practiced. Everyone- parents and kids- cheered for each other. It was amazing and we were hooked. 3 years later and we are still loving it. He has also tried flag football, soccer, baseball and rec time too.
Can Play has been an invaluable resource for our son, offering opportunities for physical activity, socialization, and, most importantly, a strong sense of teamwork. Throughout his years in Can Play’s sports programs, he has developed greater physical coordination and growth than we ever imagined. The leaders, staff, and volunteers are exceptional, showing a level of love and care for the kids that is truly groundbreaking in this field. We look forward to continuing our participation and support for many years to come.
We have been attending Can Play Adapted activities for several years and it is one of the area programs that I feel truly makes a difference with our son. The staff and volunteers genuinely understand how to engage and support children with disabilities. The team creates an environment that is welcoming and fun. It is clear that Can Play wants our children to learn and grow. It has been so wonderful to see the continued progress over the years and watch as he develops new skills. We are very grateful for the intentional and worthwhile adapted programming at Can Play.
We’ve been a part of the organization since my daughter was 3 years old and she is now 15. CanPlay has offered our daughter so many opportunities to participate in a wide variety of sports, activities, leagues, celebrations and dances that she wouldn’t otherwise get. This has boosted her confidence and given her a sense of pride and accomplishment. The staff are so amazing and so creative when designing their programs! We love CanPlay!!
