Camp Whittier is a 94-acre outdoor camp facility in the Santa Ynez Valley - across from Lake Cachuma and beside Los Padres National Forest - owned and operated by the United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County. Its signature program, the Elings Science & Math Camp, is a hands-on STEAM experience for school groups built from 20+ modules (geology, astronomy, fire ecology, engineering and more), and the site is also rented year-round to outside groups. Facilities include a swimming pool, a high/low ropes course with climbing wall and zip-line, archery, hiking trails, and sports courts.
