Powered by GoogleMy daughter was going here for 3 years in a row every summer but this is her last year unfortunately. I see alot of things changed and they got very money hungry , even the supervisor i feel like he was sassy and dont really care about the kids , onlythe money. If you miss one payment you basically have to pay registration fee on top of the weekly fee which is diabolical. Because allegedly the system kicks them out once you miss a payment. The last two years it wasnt like that & even when they called me because i missed one payment by accident by having my card locked they just kept asking is she coming back because if not they have someone else that's interested in taking her spot ? Like huh ? Sound crazy even telling a parent that just to get them to pay. Diabolical. then towards the end they cancelled all the field trips and dont even let the parents know just because summer is ending doesnt mean you should cancel the rest of the fieldtrip. Specifically the last 2 weeks. And They didnt mention this to the parents either , only the kids until after the last payment was made. Whats the point of paying $145 a week if you guys not gonna take them anywhere especially all the way until the end of the summer ?? I definitely would recommend going elsewhere. Although some of the staff that watch the kids are nice , save your money because the company itself only cares about your money.
Didn’t like it. Very disorganized summer camp. There is no calendar with the activities they are having during the week. They don’t tell you the field trips they are going to have the next da, so you don’t know if your child is going to a field trip or not. My daughter was absent for a week and they charged me for the week and there is no person to talk to and dispute the charge. I don’t like it at all.
I've had a mixed experience with Camp Wannado. While my niece loves the field trips and her counselor, she's been disappointed with the camp itself. The lack of art supplies, toys, games, and equipment has been a letdown. Additionally, she's found the director to be mean and rude, which isn't surprising given my own interactions with him over the phone. The staff also is underprepared to work with children with disabilities. Considering the cost, I wouldn't recommend this camp. If you're looking for a more supportive and well-resourced environment, you might want to explore other options.
Your kids will have a better time at literally any other camp. This is glorified baby sitting at best. No activities are done with the children. They spend most of their time running around bored in the cafeteria. Inadequate supervision as there is never enough staff. And the owner has absolutely no people skills. He is only in this for the money. Spend your money elsewhere.
We love Camp Wannado!! Our daughter has been attending since last year for both aftercare and camp. The staff is always wonderful and our daughter loves it.
