Camp Rainbow
Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders
Free week-long overnight camp for patients of Phoenix Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders who have, or have had, cancer or a chronic blood disorder, held each summer at Lost Canyon Young Life Camp in Williams, Arizona. Campers ages 7 to 17 are grouped in cabins by age and gender and take part in a climbing wall and low ropes course, zip line, archery, canoeing, fishing, swimming, arts and crafts, music and sports, with evening programmes such as a talent show and camp dance. An on-site infirmary is staffed 24 hours a day by Phoenix Children's doctors, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and mental health professionals. The camp is funded entirely by philanthropy and provided at no cost to children and families; applications open in mid-December for the following summer with an April 1 deadline.

We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.
