I went here as a child. It was a great childhood experience I'll never forget! The pool was like a daily activity that was used as an afternoon retreat after all of the other things they did with us. We shot bow and arrow, rode paddle boats, had a basketball court that is kinda split up on the state line...... they said it was, but now I know with Google maps.... it's close. 😆. We also did a scavenger hunt one day that was really fun. I was good with plants and animals so I did well with that. I also got to see my older cousins from Kentucky, Jason and Jamie Stacey, from West liberty. They were assistance counselors. That was awesome, as I lived in Shelbyville Tennessee at the time. The only complaint, and the reason I only give 4 stars instead of 5, is that I was not told blankets, pillows, towels, and all essentials were not to be provided by the camp. I had never been to camp before. They didn't have any extra, and I had to sleep the entire week without anything...... and it was cold at night, especially after coming in from the pool every evening, and not having a towel to dry off with. I had to use clothes for towels blankets and pillows for the week. It was rough, but it did challenge me as a 11 year to see if I could make it through on my own accord. I did, and it made me a little tougher today I believe. It also gives kids a little taste of how jail can feel really. Having to share bunks and bathroom facilities in the same area as other boys. One kid liked throwing people's dry clothes and towels in the shower while they were in there soaking their stuff they had laid out...... he got delt with in the night..... lmao 🤣 🤣. That stuff isn't funny when that's all the clothes and towels you have, and the only option for drying is hanging them outside.....

Women's Camp 2023 was a huge success! The Lord moved in mighty ways this weekend. What a blessing to be there.

We were here for senior camp... the camp grounds are beautiful. Plenty of things to do, fishing, burn fires 🔥 prayer walks... and making new friends.

It was a BEAUTIFUL experience!! I was there with a group of ladies for a Women's Retreat. The property caretakers were so pleasantly accommodating. The spaces were clean. There were plenty of bathrooms on the grounds. The views were lovely. The amenities were fun (swimming, canoeing). The food was very tasty and the service was EXCELLENT!! Phone reception was challenging, so consider that aspect. However, it made for a simpler time! My pics don't do it justice. I would love to return.
