105 year old all girls camp. My daughters have gone to the 2 week camp for years. Now as they get older considering moving up to the 4 week camp! Such a great experience and no phones or screens allowed. When you pick them up they did not even miss their phone. They were too busy swimming playing games horseback riding archery crafts hiking and making great friends!!

Where to begin to describe Camp Nakanawa? Though words hardly do it justice, I will say it is a place like no other. As a former camper ('88 - '92), I cherish the memories of those six weeks in the summer spent at Camp. Days were filled with canoeing, swimming, diving, horseback riding, singing, camping and so much more. I am even more thankful to have shared that experience with my daughter! Camp has only gotten better over the years. We especially appreciate that camp is "screen free"! Where else in this world can a girl go anymore without the pressure of electronics & social media? At Camp Nakanawa, you are truly free - free to be yourself, to learn new things and to grow and gain confidence that will last your whole life through. Priceless!

If I could give Camp Nakanawa 10 stars I would! Here I made lifelong friends, enjoyed participating in a variety of activities and sports, and learned core values that contributed to the person I am today. After 40 years, I still remember songs we sang by campfire and walks with friends with nature all around. This environment is so welcoming and the perfect experience for young girls!

An absolutely amazing camp. My family started going soon after the camp was established, we have loved it. It’s a safe community, and they have very loving staff. They use the term an “all girls” camp. This camp is really an all girl camp. All girls are included, cared for, and loved. My girls came home with better manners and great posture! This is truely an amazing place to be.

Our Church Young Women's Camp was held here. Lots to do. Beautiful lakefront. Rustic accommodations. Rustic food. The girls loved it.
