★Elaine HessBeware. Recently attended a gathering at Evergreen Lodge. We were not allowed access to the kitchen at all. We had to get water from the water fountain or an outside hose. We had to transport food cooked elsewhere, the roasters kept tripping breakers. Then we had to transport all the pans and utensils to a place a few miles from the camp to wash them. Very inconvenient. Would never go there again.

★Maddie Leeif I could give it 0 stars, I would !!!! Me and all of the other girls in my cabin got bitten by bed bugs, and I had an allergic reaction to the bites. I now have bites all over my arms, hands, neck, chest, face, ears, and feet, and I had to see a doctor to get medication when I got home. everyone was freaked out and stressed that we would bring bed bugs back home with us. very stressful and upsetting experience for everyone involved; even though I'm home i still feel upset and stressed just looking at all of my bites and I am constantly anxious about whether I brought bed bugs back home with me. we're definitely not going back here !
★★★★★Daniel ChaiThe place was refreshing and great! Wonderful place to disconnect from outside as there's no reception there. Being so remote, the absence of light makes it easy to see the stars and the milky way. Make sure to bring proper bedding as the cabins are dirty with lots of bugs crawling around.
★★★Brenda Sue Staerker-LewisWas there as a part of a large group . We had to clean the cabins prior to using them... The bathrooms were very dirty, and no products were offered for clean up....(cleaner, mop etc.) Shower curtains were mildewed in the Pine villiage section. The stairs into the smaller cottages (a frame) were not safe...with large gaps. The main lodge floor was not mopped at all during our stay. We had asked what we would be responsible for and was told only washing the tables...however ...the cleanser did not suffice .........and seemed only to be hot water . The ropes course, well....it wasn't. The pond with canoe access was very small. The property was beautiful, and ...the owner friendly. However, not always accessible due to wireless/phone issues. The cook was awesome, her help as well. All in all it was enjoyable....
