Camp Mitchell is my absolute favorite place for a retreat, either by myself or with a group of friends or family. Take in the beautiful views of Ada Valley from the cliff edge, sit quietly alone in the chapel, walk over to Stout’s Point for a sunrise, or read a book in your hammock. It offers ideal spaces to hold events like family reunions, weddings, or even business meetings, and the prices are reasonable. It’s also just down the road from Petit Jean State Park. I hope you enjoy visiting this special camp as much as my family has!

From pre-visit communication through support during our stay, the folks at Camp Mitchell made sure we were taken care of in every possible way. We stayed in Canterbury House and had a great time. Needed more fire wood and more arrived in 30 minutes. And that because we'd been provided with contact numbers during our stay. The leaders made sure every detail of our stay was taken care of so the actual reason we were there, the spiritual growth of our men, could happen. And it did!

We were here for a wedding and I can't say enough for things about the stuff. Several of us in our group had special food needs and, at first, we thought it would be too much on the kitchen. As it turns out, they were able to accommodate for every meal such that all of us had options. Not only that, when I asked to check that I was getting gluten-free food, they also mentioned other modifications to dishes that I often give up trying to worry about when eating out. I'm so extremely grateful because it's a rare experience where I eat food prepared by others and don't experience any repercussions. The location is absolutely beautiful. Just remember that it is in the forest, so you may encounter wildlife. We recommend traveling in and out during daylight, if possible, due to deer.

What a cool location for a wedding, family gathering or corporate event. I am sure we were treated better than average. The staff and venue were way above what we expected. Our wedding was really nice.
