Camp Mar-Mac is a youth camping facility in Farmington that has hosted the Marion County 4-H Camp since 1924. It serves young people ages 9 to 21 with daily classes and activities centered on leadership and service, set on rustic grounds that can sleep nearly 200. The site is also rented for other youth residential camps, reunions, retreats and weddings.

★★★★Elizabeth HowardIf you’re looking for a remote location this is it! A wedding found us finding the place out in the middle of nowhere, yet close to Fairmont, WV. The facilities were overall in good condition, with some of the buildings viewed rather new. The camp is nestled around the rim and bowl of some rolling hills. We’ll shaded with trees, it certainly made for a rustic outdoor setting with amenities for comfort and fun. The missing star relates to some needed paint, landscaping and updates to some of the buildings.

It needs the State to put some real money into it so that it can shine for the campers, visitors, brides and grooms that come each year. The staff and crew that care for it are top notch! 4H is amazing but the States support of this great facility needs to be increased dramatically!
